I guess DDR is making a formal comeback into my life. :x
I did, in fact, play at work today… though nowhere near as much as I’d like to start doing, for the sake of getting more exercise. (I feel guilty leaving my desk overlong and at unexpected times.) And it’s a pretty great machine, in very good condition and the surroundings are spare and remote enough for hearing the music. I could nitpick about its position just under a light source, which puts a bit of a glare on the screen, but it doesn’t really prevent me from playing.
When we were making plans to move out, Spark was adamant about getting some Cobalt Flux pads, the only real remaining manufacturer of hard DDR pads, and I was more than happy to agree to this. We’ve pretty much had our fill of playing in formal arcades, which have varying playing experiences, and we gunned for an apartment on the ground floor for the sake of not disrupting fellow residents.
Hopefully I’ll make good use of both playing venues. Especially with both of them being free! I’m so pleased to welcome this game back as a regular in my life. :D
(So does my Wii Fit board, I’d bet… it sure knows I need it. ;_; )
