Silver Linings
Yesterday I was forcefully startled awake due to an enormously loud and resonant crack of thunder. It was really quite frightening. But I forgave the skies as they gave me sheets of raindrops after that to drowse back to sleep to.
Later in the afternoon, the clouds parted enough to let the sun through just as it was starting to set, so we got this intense double rainbow. Too bad I left the apartment without my camera.
