So since I got my evals in, my attention has been scattered here and there. Tomorrow I’ll be going up to campus to take my first REAL look around, maybe find the buildings my classes are in, and meet the lady who’s interested in hiring USC students for random tech work around campus. I’m probably going to get a light-weight job in my first couple of semesters, you know, to help pay off living expenses while not being too hard for a new grad student. There’s also a formal orientation on the 20th and then I think my classes start on the 22nd. >_<;

I spent some time with my mom’s business’s webhost’s tech support today, trying to get WordPress functional on the server. ::checks to see if it’s working yet… nope::sigh:: Still have a decent amount of work to do on that before it becomes fully functional… but at least I’m making progress. (haven’t sent me price ranges yet, btw, MOM.)

Played some serious WoW today, first time in a very long time that I’ve done anything more than log on to transmute. PvP always gets the blood pumping. >_>

Started looking into how much damage Voices has taken… i.e. I haven’t worked on it since before TIC started and I can’t remember where I left off. It’s really not so bad, but there’s a lot of work to be done before Aida is back up to snuff. I’m kind of sorry DEX never got off the ground, but meh… that’s what I get for not starting him up sooner. Maybe next year. XP

Got caught up in this thing called Travian… it’s very vaguely like Settlers of Catan on steroids. Or maybe the expansions of Settlers, cause this one’s largely about military. It’s also not chance-based… ah, nevermind. It’s not all that similar to Settlers… just feels like it, with the plots of resources and the clay and the wheat… XP If you’re going to get caught up in Travian, too, try to roll your village on “classic server 3” (as opposed to just “server 3”) and start in the northeast… I think the Pokechat crew will be making an alliance eventually that we can all join. :x

And this LA heat just doesn’t know how to let up. Nyarrgh.
