Work and Play

work
We had a Wii in at lunch today. Someone else brought it and they started it up while the rest of us were out at Rubios and we returned to the sight of Micah pounding the digital crap out of his boxing opponent. Sadly, shortly after that it was decided that lunch was over and that we should return to work. ::snerk::
For the last couple of days, my tasks has consisted of work in Unreal. They gave me this map in which all the AI scripts were broken, so I’ve been going around to the six encounters and “fixing” them up, one by one. The work resembles what I did for ICAM 120, only Unreal actually has an interface for adding scripted events whereas it was a little more troublesome in NWN.
Frankly it’s not as fun as working in Unreal should be (I mean, just in principle XP ), but it’s better than working with the source code itself… which I think is going to end up being my next task, so bleh. -_-;
Finally, it turns out there are at least two other WoW players in the office, or at least… two again since the Burning Crusade came out, so WoW is a frequent topic of the day. One of my coworkers is considering transferring to my server, cause all his friends are gone on his current one, haha… I think he’d fit in with the rest of AR pretty well. -_-;
Is that Kirby music I hear? ::suspicious sidelong glance::
