work
Even with a relaxed schedule like mine… the end of the quarter is always jam-packed. This upcoming week is pretty clear, of course, due to Thanksgiving weekend… but, shock-and-awe, my parents are actually going to drive down (with the dog) to visit me this weekend, so I’m actually not going to have much time to work. They want to do the whole tourist thing… Sea World, San Diego Zoo, etc. which I’m totally up for, because in the four years that I’ve lived here in La Jolla, I haven’t gone to any of them.
Yeah, I know, I’m pathetic. Bite me. Better late than never, right?
Anyway, after that, it’s tenth week. voices will be “due” — I need to get that into at least a partially finished state so that it’s worth presenting. I also have to write an at-least-three-page-paper on voices, to be turned in that week. Chamber choir will be having their concert in that week, too, so that’s one less class to attend that week, but an extra rehearsal and the concert itself is added.
On top of that! I should be working on my gradapps and I’ve honestly tried to start the statement of purpose several times, but I never come up with anything … well… sincere… and I end up scrapping it. At the very least I have an outline of what points I want to hit, but … bleh.
And in the meantime, I still have work… so that’s less days I can do other things. Sheesh.
